The 1000 series hotplates and stirrers are economic units
offering the performance needed in the most demanding applications.
The low profile case construction is carefully designed
to ensure that any spillage is prevented from affecting
the performance of the unit. The robust cast plinth will
withstand the most severe handling and the paint finish
has been selected to minimise the effects of chemical spillage.
Two tapped retort bosses are provided to the rear of the
case to enable standard laboratory scaffolding to be used
in conjunction with the unit.
Heating is controlled by a precision energy regulator.
The ceramic surface temperature can be controlled within
close limits from values just above ambient to a maximum
between 450 and 500°C
Stirring can be controlled from 0-2000rpm, with smooth
and rapid speed changes guaranteed to ensure the magnetic
follower always stays under control. |
